588,423. Epicyclic reduction gearing. WESTON (ENGINEERS), Ltd., SUTTON, R., and BANNOCK, D. June 17, 1945, No. 4077. [Class 80 (i)] Epicyclic reduction gearing comprises a driving eccentric on the driving shaft A on which is rotatably supported an externally toothed gear E engaging with an annular ring of teeth F, in the form of a chain secured to the casing B, of greater diameter. A reduced drive of the gear E in the reverse direction is obtained which is transmitted to the driven shaft C, or to the driving eccentric of a second train in series as shown, through an Oldham type coupling disc G.
