Class 19 A mop wringer comprises a substantially rectangular frame member having provision for the application of foot pressure at its lower end when the wringer is in position in relation to a bucket, an extension on upper part of such frame member adapted to be held by the hand to stabilise the mop wringer when the foot pressure is being applied, a horizontal wringing roller supported between the uprights of the frame, a bracket relatively slidable vertically between the upright members of the frame and adapted to rest on the rim of a bucket and a horizontal roller supported by an parallel to the said bracket. In the Figure, a rectangular frame member 10 has an extension 11 at its lower end for the application of foot pressure; an extension 12 of the frame terminates in a handle which is grasped during the wringing operation. Supported in the frame so as to be capable of rotating is a horizontal wringer roller 13. A bracket 14 supporting another horizontal wringer roller 15 so that the two wringer rollers are parallel, has lugs 16 and. 17 having oval holes or .slots through which opposite side members of the frame pass and is slidable in the frame. The lugs 16 and 17 rest on the rim of the bucket 18, the mop is inserted between the rollers, foot pressure is applied to extension 11 whilst the handle is grasped and the mop is then pulled through the rollers.
