Abstract

658,541. Liquid-fuel burners. DONISELLI, O. March 17, 1949, No. 7268. Convention date, July 29, 1948. [Class 75(i)] , A liquid-fuel burner has an annular channel member 1, to which fuel is supplied.with the channel partly covered by a cap 4 provided with apertures in its cylindrical portion through which apertures pass vaporized fuel and air coming from the central hole 2 at the inner boundary of the inner channel, the channel member being surrounded by a cylindrical cover 8 so as to leave a space for further air and the channel member being axially adjustable therein in a guided manner. The cylindrical cover 8 is suspended from an apertured hot-plate 12 by lugs 10 slid over bracket lugs 11 . Upward adjustment of the channel member 1 causes increased air velocity at the hot-plate aperture and so causes increased fuel flow.
