Abstract

An alloy having a high degree of intrinsic induction and electrical resistivity contains 0.5-6 per cent Mo and the remainder, apart from impurities, being Fe. The impurities are up to 0.03 per cent C, up to 0.2 per cent Mn, up to 0.025 per cent S, up to 0.015 per cent P and possibly small residual amounts of Si and Al when these elements are used for killing the alloy.
