Abstract

An alloy which is suitable for the manufacture of articles having high resistance to corrosion, low creep and high load carrying ability at high temperatures, has the following composition:-Ni 40-60 per cent, Cr 22-34 per cent, W 4.0-6.5 per cent, C 0.35-0.75 per cent, Fe, and the usual impurities such as Si and Mn, the remainder. Specifications 583,212 and 583,845 are referred to.
