Abstract
Electric conductors, the impedance of which varies when the axial component of the external magnetic field changes, consist of an alloy of about 16.6 per cent. iron, 77.3 per cent. nickel, 5 per cent. copper and small percentages of other elements such as manganese, chromium and silicon. Specification 458,034 is referred to.
