Abstract
653,940. Indicating apparatus. PHILCO CORPORATION. Oct. 21, 1948, No. 27375. Convention date, Dec. 3, 1947. [Class 40 (v)] A radio tuning indicator comprises a movable indicating member, a movable flexible connection means for moving said member, and an element having a mounting portion and a resilient portion, the resilient portion engaging with the cord to tension it and guide it in its movement and the mounting portion having means for adjusting the element to adjust the tension of the cord. As shown a pointer 12 is attached to a carriage 14 slidably mounted on the upper edge of the scale plate and driven by a cord 20 from the shaft 27, and a flat resilient member 31, provided with a bifurcated foot portion having prongs which grip the front wall 7, is adjustably clamped in position by a nut 35 on the bearing 29, to guide the cord and maintain it in tension.
