[Class 40 (viii)] [Also in Group XL (c)] In circuits for the transmission of broad bands of very high frequencies and which include an inductance coil having a core of ferromagnetic material of substantially no electrical conductivity, the frequency of operation and the core material are chosen so that the permeability of the core shows a marked decrease with increasing frequency throughout the band of the system. In an example an aerial is formed of a rod of the material with a coupling coil around one end thereof. A suggested core material is a composition including ferrite known as ferroxcube.
