Abstract
616,573. Aerial coupling arrangements. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. Sept. 6, 1046, No. 26862. Convention date, March 10. 1943. [Class 40 (v)] The aerial of a receiver is coupled to a permcability tuned coil 3 in series with a capacity 2 which is shunted by an auxiliary coil 6, the latter being inductively coupled to the tuning coil. The core of the tuning coil is arranged to move into the field of the auxiliary coil as it moves out of the tuning coil so as to increase the coupling at the higher frequencies thereby producing a substantially uniform signal over the whole tuning range.
