651,262. Liquid forcing by gas pressure. RENTOKIL, Ltd., HICKIN, N. E., and EADES, E. Dec. 3, 1947, No. 31960. [Class 102(ii)] [Also in Group VIII] A device for ejecting liquid from a container 11 by gas pressure and injecting it into worm holes in timber comprises a cap 12 associated with pressure producing means and carrying a tube 15 communicating with an ejector tube having a nozzle 19 projecting from a shoulder 20 at its end and a washer 21 disposed against the shoulder to prevent leakage. A spring- loaded discharge valve 17b, disposed within a handle 17 at the end of a flexible tube, carries the nozzle and is opened by normal pressure when the nozzle is pressed into a worm hole. The pressure is produced by a piston pump 18. In an alternative embodiment the valve 17b is dispensed with and the pressure is produced by a rubber bulb connected with the cap through a flexible tube provided with a non-return valve.
