Abstract

650,552. Revolving - cylinder pumps. SCHWEIZERISCHE LOKOMOTIV-UND MASCHINENFABRIK. Dec. 31, 1947, No. 35440. Convention date, July 23, 1942. [Class 102(i)] In a revolving-cylinder pump having a fixed stroke, the cylinder block 1 is mounted on an eccentric portion 2 of the driving shaft and the pistons 13 are connected by rods 14 to the casing 3 that is mounted on bearings 4 concentric with the driving shaft. One side of the cylinder block 1 and the casing 3 are connected by at least two auxiliary cranks 15 having bearings 16, 17 in the'two parts; the cranks have the same throw as the eccentrics. On the other side of cylinder block, a counterweight 20 is fixed to the shaft to balance the eccentric masses and the eccentric 2.
