Abstract
644,295. Electric resonators. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Sept. 6, 1946, Nos. 26916 and 26917. Convention dates, May 28, 1941 and May 29, 1941. [Class 40 (viii)] [Also in Groups XL (a) and XL (c)] In a thermionic amplifying tube, (see Group XL (a)), the output resonator consists of a toroidal portion 66 connected to a coaxial-line portion 63, 64, the far end of which is tuned by a plunger 71 moving across the gap between 63 and an extension 67 of the outer conductor 64. In a modification, Fig. 13 (not shown), the tuning arrangement is applied to a resonator wholly of the coaxial-line type.
