[Class 40 (viii)] [Also in Groups XL (a) and XL (c)] In a coaxial-line resonator 18 in which an electron discharge device 1 incorporated endwise in one end, has an anode-cathode feedback path defined by a pair of telescopic cylinders 32, 33 supported on the grid terminal, tuning is effected within the frequency range set by the adjustment of the length of the feedback path, by adjusting the position of the end of the inner conductor 27 of the resonator, along the anode terminal contact 21, or by adjusting the position of the choke 30 terminating one end of the resonator, or by moving the two in unison.
