[Class 135] A one-way valve, e.g, for a lubricating system, comprises a piston valve 10 formed with passages 11, 11<SP>1</SP> coacting with a groove 17 in a fixed sleeve. 5, and a spring-loaded ball valve 14. Pressure lubricant in the inlet 2 moves the piston valve together with the ball valve until the inner ends of the passages 11, 11<SP>1</SP> open into the groove 17, whereupon lubricant flows via the passages and groove, past the ball valve to the outlet 3. In order to permit of the quick assembly of the parts, the piston, sleeve and a collar 6 which positions the sleeve are reversible.
