Abstract

586,383. Valves. SPINKS, S. A. E., and WAKEFIELD & CO., Ltd., C. C. Dec. 29, 1944, No. 26095. [Class 135] A trigger-operated liquid-delivery valve, e.g. for lubricating oil, comprises a spring- loaded valve 46 coacting with an annular seat 44 between'the inlet 57 and the outlet 43, and attached to a hollow ported piston 48 sliding in a cylinder between the valve and the outlet and having a controlled inlet port 50. The valve spindle 47 passes through a gland in the valve body and contacts with a trigger 55. In a modification, the piston, spindle and gland are on the inlet side of the valve.
