[Class 135] A check valve comprises a hemisphericalshaped closure member a provided with a stem b located within and guided by a spring disposed between the stem and a screwed cap c. The axis of the closure member is preferably arranged at an angle of 45 degrees to the fluidflow passage g, g<SP>1</SP>. According to the Provisional Specification, the closure member is preferably made of corrosion-resisting steel and loosely mounted on the stem.
