637,377. Electromechanical filters. HASLER AKT.-GES. WERKE FUR TELEPHONIE UND PRAZISIONSMECHANIK. Jan. 1, 1947, No..90. - Convention date, Jan. 7, 1946. [Class 40 (viii)] An electromechanical band filter comprises a number of sections formed from one base beam with one or two cross-beams, the beams being set in transverse oscillation. One construction is shown in Fig. 7 above the dividing section X, the base beams being clamped in section X and the cross-beams being connected by links R. An alternative construction is shown in Fig. 7 .if the plane X is omitted, showing sections with two cross-beams. The bandwidth of the filter can be altered by cutting away part of the base beam. The electrical input is led to a coil W of an electromagnet B mounted around the ends of the end section Q. A steady flux is superimposed on the varying flux of the electromagnet by a permanent magnet U.
