Abstract
634,999. Thermionic valves. LA PERRELLE, E. T. DE. March 3, 1947, No. 6003. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Groups XL (b) and XL (c)] An electric discharge tube 9 is mounted at or near one of the foci of an oval-shaped resonator 6 formed between two parallel plates 1 and 2, while a variable tuning condenser is mounted near the other focus of the oval. The valve 9 is of the disc seal triode type with the anode grid circuit connected across the resonant cavity. The cathode and grid have terminal contact springs 18 and 17 respectively while the anode cap of the valve is in contact with an external securing cap which is capacity coupled to one wall of the resonator. 0
