634,287. Clutches. STANLEY, G. E. June 23, 1947, Nos. 14568/48 (divided out of 634,409) and 32237/47. [Class 80 (ii)] A clutch disc having a plurality of circumferential ly spaced flexible sectors, some of which have portions kinked out of the plane of the disc has friction linings secured to the opposite faces of the sectors by flexible rivets. The arms 14 of a spider secured to a hub 12 support arcuate sectors 16 having portions 17 kinked in the same direction. Two friction linings 21, 23 are riveted to the sectors by cork rivets 20, 25 having their heads in clearing holes in one of the linings, such that lining 21 is secured by the rivets 20 and lining 23 by the rivets 25.
