633,997. Vibratory mechanism. WENANDER, H. S. Feb. 10, 1948, No. 3848. [Class 80 (iv)] In a vibratory device of the conical pendulum type the mass 8 is driven from a shaft portion 3 supported in bearings 10 by a flexible shaft portion 4. An additional member 5 may be provided on this flexible shaft portion co-operating with a surface 6 to counteract the effect of centrifugal force on this shaft. The portion of the flexible shaft between the members 5 and 8 may be made rigid.
