[Class 80(iv)] A vibrating device for containers of pasty material comprises a base 8 intended to rest upon or to be attached to the container, a single bearing 7 mounted on the base and a shaft 1 journalled in the bearing carrying an eccentric mass 3 on each side of the bearing. The end 4 of the shaft 1 is coupled to an engine by a flexible shaft (not shown), the weight of which is balanced by a flywheel 5.
