831,037. Vibratory apparatus. ALLISCHALMERS MANUFACTURING CO. May 22, 1958 [May 31, 1957], No. 16500/58. Class 80 (4). In a vibratory apparatus having out-ofbalance masses 30, 31 on parallel shafts 26, 27, respectively, which are rotated at equal speeds but in opposite directions by a belt-drive 22 from a motor 21 to a pulley 20 on one of the shafts, the pulley 20 is arranged eccentrically on its shaft so as to compensate for vibratory movement along a line B-B at an angle to the normal K-K to the line of drive D1-F and maintain the belt centre distance substantially constant. The mechanism is shown applied to a vibrating screening and conveying device 11 suspended by cables 15.
