[Class 141] [Also in GroupXV] In a machine for crimping paper and the like, the crimping rollers e<SP>1</SP>, f<SP>2</SP> are mounted on shafts e, f received within a rectangular steel block d supported between a pair of side plates a having extensions a2, a<SP>1</SP> which support respectively the crimping table b and threaded means to receive a clamping bolt c. The table b is formed with a channelled edge b<SP>2</SP> slotted in the upper and lower walls to receive the rollers el, f<SP>2</SP>. The roller e<SP>1</SP> is coupled to the handle crank e<SP>2</SP> or to an electric motor. The roller f<SP>2</SP> is eccentrically mounted with respect to the shaft f upon a plate f<SP>1</SP> which is engaged by the downwardly projecting flange g<SP>1</SP> of a member g which rocks about its end g<SP>2</SP> and is urged resiliently downwards to cause compressive engagement of the rollers by a rubber block h<SP>1</SP> which is compressed by screw and nut means h, h<SP>3</SP>.
