659,432. Screwdrivers. THORNTON, A. A. (Lavietes D. P.). Feb. 18, 1949, No. 4491. [Class 61(iii)] [Also in Group XXV] Bolts and screws are provided with conical sockets 24 to receive a correspondingly formed driver that does not bottom in the socket and is relieved at 27 to avoid contact at the external edge of the socket. The taper is such that the screw can be carried to place by the driver which is provided with a handle 20 or formed for power operation or to fit a brace.
