[Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] A hexagonal aluminium &c. tile 1 is formed with inclined upstanding flanges 2-5 along its four upper edges and with inclined downturned flanges 6, 7 widened at 9 along its two lower edges. The tile is provided with nail holes 10, 11 and a slot 12 to receive an upstanding tongue 24 on a fixing plate 23 which may be fixed to the roof structure or engaged under overlapped tiles.
