581,208. Roofs; tiles. GRAVETT, W. H. March 14, 1944, No. 4714. [Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i)] A tile 3 is provided with a hanging nib or nibs 4 spaced from its upper end and angled so as to fit over the upper ends of subjacent tiles. A metal plate 6 may be attached to the tile to give added support. Grooves may be formed in the upper ends of the tiles to receive nails against which some hanging nails may abut. A depression may also be formed in the upper face of the tile to prevent rain from driving up the tile.
