631,720. Roofing elements. ANDREWS, W. C., and HOENIG, E. Oct. 14, 1947, No. 27531. [Class 87(i)] A structural element 1 for sloping roofs is of trough-shape with the lower flange 3 of greater height than the upper flange 4 and is provided with a grooved lip 5 to overlap the next lower element. The ends of the element may be formed with grooves 7 in the flanges to fit on to a supporting wall &c. and a hole 8 to receive reinforcing ties, or with a recess 9 to receive concrete. Specification 631,677 is referred to.
