Abstract

405,136. Roofing-tiles. BOULANGER, C., Contiches, Nord, France. March 31, 1933, No. 9732. Convention date, April 29, 1932. [Class 87 (i).] A roofing-tile of glass or ceramic material is formed adjacent to the end hook 1 with a flatbottomed transverse depression 2 for engagement with the upwardly projecting top flange 4 of the tile beneath to prevent the ingress of rain, &c. A second upwardly projecting transverse flange 6 is preferably provided to engage the end hook 1 of the tile above. The tiles have flanges 5 and nail holes for securing to the rafters R. Interlocking side flanges may also be provided.
