Roofs.-Relates to reinforced-concrete slabs of the kind forming a flush weatherproof roof, and comprises slabs adapted to engage with and interlock with the roof joist or purlin and to overlap and interlock with each other in such a manner that each slab is securely held in position without the use of nails. As shown, the slabs, which are interlocked laterally by an overlapping tongue and groove preferably strengthened by a swelling, are provided at top and bottom with downwardly-projecting ribs d adapted to engage with the joist e or purlin f and to interlock with the adjacent slab at g. The end portions of the slabs are bevelled at k and the upper bevelled face of each slab may be provided with a lateral drainage groove l. The slabs forming the lower edge of the roof are formed in one piece with bearing- blocks h adapted to rest on the wall i.
