119,710. Deards, S. Oct. 15, 1917. Roofing.-Relates to reinforced cement roofing- tiles provided with projecting metal securing- devices and consists in providing projecting portions c, d. Fig. 2, at the top and underside respectively of each tile whereby two overlapping tiles can be secured together and to the purlin f, Fig. 5, or wall, e.g. by a simple wire fastening secured to a nail. As shown, the parts c, d consist of loops formed in a wire b. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which the underside of the tile is recessed to expose a portion d' of the wire b.
