Abstract

480,460. Paving-tiles. BERRY, A. L. Oct. 23, 1936, No. 28882. [Class 87 (i)] A moulded rock asphalt tile is provided on its upper surface with projections a separated by longitudinal and transverse grooves b, c. A narrow flat strip d may be provided around the edges of the tile. The upper part or the whole of the tile may be of coloured rock asphalt. The grooves, the groove sides or the whole of the tile surface may be painted or enamelled. The tile may be 8 in. by 5 in. by 0À6 in. thick (excluding the projections) with grooves 0-lin. wide and the projections may be 0-5in. square at the top and 0À6in. square at the base.
