629,382. Dry shavers. BRUECKER, J. July 11, 1947, No. 18428. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1939. [Class 131] In a dry shaver the guard comprises a supporting frame having longitudinal members 11, 12 connected by curved ribs 15 and a resilient, perforated shearing plate 16 conforming to the shape of the ribs and clamped to the longitudinal members. Several forms of resilient damping clip are described, that shown in Fig. 6 taking the form of channel members 27 embracing each longitudinal member and the associated edge of the shearing plate and provided with tongues 29 passing through perforations 26 in the shearing plate. In a modification the edges of the shearing plate are riveted to rigid bars which are secured to the longitudinal members by screws.
