Abstract

1380671 Dry shavers FAMULUS ELEKTROGERATE GmbH 23 Feb 1973 [28 Feb 1972] 9031/73 Heading B4B [Also in Division B3] An elongated cutter foil 3 for a dry shaver wherein the foil is produced by electro-deposition and comprises a main portion in which is an area of perforation 6 and an edge zone joined to the main portion by a fold defining an apex 5, a cutter comb constituted by bars 8 separated from each other by slots 7, the bars containing perforations 19 serving to enhance the thickness of the foil produced by electro-deposition in the region of the bars, the perforations in the bars being clear of the zone adjacent the apex whereby in each bar the foil is continuous across the width of the bar adjacent to the apex. The perforations in the bars may be elongated as shown or replaced by a number of round holes (20), Fig. 4 (not shown).
