Abstract

513,112. Dry shavers. GENERAL SHAVER CORPORATION. March 2, 1938, No. 6567. Convention date, March 4, 1937. [Class 131] The bars 10 of the outer slotted cutters of a power-operated shaver having a reciprocating tubular inner cutter as described in Specification 499,772 are each formed with two zones 13 of minimum thickness the bars increasing in thickness in both directions away from said zones. The varying thickness may be produced by grinding flat intersecting planes 11, 12 on the bars. The strip 8 separates the two sets of cutter slots 7, wider slots 9 being provided to facilitate the entry of the hair.
