[Class 135] In a thermostatically-controlled gas supply valve, rotation of a plug inlet cock is transmitted directly to a member'screw-threadedly engaging a thermostatic valve held against rotation by means carried by a rocker arm. As shown, the bellows thermostat g moves one end of a rocker arm l pivoted at m, the other end of which moves the disc control valve f. The cock c has a slot 4 engaging a pin 3 passing through a member 2 screwed into the valve f so that rotation of the cock adjusts the valve with respect to its seat e, the valve being prevented from rotating by the ears 6, 7, on the rocker engaging slots 9 in the edge of the valve. The temperature range of the instrument can be varied by lifting and turning the disc so that the ears engage selected slots. Specification 606,134 is referred to.
