Abstract
623,731. Sprayers. ANDERMATT, C. March 15, 1946, No. 8110. Convention date, March 17, 1945. [Class 69 (iii)] In spraying liquid by throwing it off from the periphery of a rotated disc 16, the liquid is supplied preferably tangentially from a pipe 6 to a stationary chamber 10 from which it flows through, e.g. a conical annular gap 7 which can be adjusted to greater or less eccentricity as required, e.g. to give a wider gap 7 at the side distant from the inflow 6 so as to even the distribution to the second fixed distributing chamber 14, from which the liquid flows without initial inertia through passages 13 to a chamber inside the disc 16 from which it is thrown outside radially. The annular gap 7 is made more or less eccentric by a regulating screw 8 which moves the housing 3 sideways in relation to the disc 4. A second liquid may also be supplied through a second tangential liquid feed pipe 6<SP>1</SP> at the opposite side to the pipe 6.
