[Class 38 (i)] A discharge device 13 is provided with a heavy-current connector between a lead-in conductor 11, 15, 16, 17 and a terminal tag 19, comprising a flexible multi-turn spiral 10 of metal strip having the conductor 11 connected to its inner end. The width of the strip is at least eight times its thickness, the rod 11 and the tag 19 preferably being attached thereto over its whole length.
