618,614. Signs. FORD, D. O. Aug. 15, 1946, No. 24353. Convention date, May 14. [Class 3(ii)] [Also in Group XV] An illuminated sign is constructed as shown in Fig. 5 which is a side view. A polymethyl methacrylate sheet 10 is given a pigmented surface by heating, applying a solvent and then a pigment, a protective coating 14 then being applied to the cold sheet. The rest of the unit consists of a housing 16, having inside a light source 17. The sheet 10 rests on a sheet of transparent material 19, preferably coloured, which rests on the supports 18.
