Abstract

1359730 Laminates MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 18 Oct 1971 [19 Oct 1970] 48435/71 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions B6 and G2] A resilient-surfaced heated roller is prepared by centrifugal or spray casting of silicone gum, silicone resin, curing agent and radiationadsorptive pigment in a volatile liquid such as toluene or heptane and application of the cured sleeve so made to a transparent cylinder. Alternatively a cured silicone gum may be laminated to a pigmented dry film, and held to a transparent cylinder by an adhesive.
