Abstract
849,485. Transparency viewing holders. KETTERING CARTONS Ltd. May 1, 1958 [May 6, 1957], No. 14339/57. Class 98(2) The holder has the form of Fig. 3 and is made up from the jacket of Fig. 1 (not shown) in which panels 3, 4 foldable at 2 are each provided with an aperture 5 and one face is coated with heat sealing adhesive 6 as of P.V.C. or like synthetic thermoplastic material and the frame 7 of Fig. 2 (not shown) with a larger aperture 8 and which is coated with a similar thermoplastic synthetic material, by heat sealing the frame 7 on to the panel 4 of Fig. 1. In use a transparency is placed in step 10 as shown in Fig. 3 and then the panel 3 is heat sealed thereover. The transparency may be sandwiched between glass sheets in its location in step 10 and a masking frame may be included therewith.
