615,482. Commutators for dynamo-electric machines. FLETCHER, G. H., WOOSEY, E., HARVEY, H., and METROPOLITANVICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. June 4, 1946, No. 16922. [Class 35] Conductor ends extend into slots in the radially outer face of commutator segment risers 3 and are brazed therein by applying resistance welding electrodes, one, 9, to the said outer face and the other, 8, to the radially outer face of a recess 6 formed in the riser between the slot and the working surface 2 of the segment and in that face of the riser adjacent the working surface.
