[Class 35] A commutator is made from superimposed conducting laminµ held together prior to and whilst being set in a moulding composition or united by such a composition to a central core or bush.. In the form shown, the aligned annuli have projections A<SP>1</SP> which become embedded in the moulded material and the slots for separating the segments are cut between these projections. The annuli may have interengaging recesses G and projections F<SP>1</SP> to preserve their alignment, or they may be welded or soldered together.
