828,798. Dynamo-electric machines. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. April 20, 1956 [April 22, 1955], No. 12175/56. Class 35. Alternate commutator segments 2, 3 are connected to separate armature circuits (not shown) and have non-conducting inserts 7, 9 so that the brushes 13, 16 make connection with only one circuit each. More than two separate circuits may be used, and these may be connected in series or parallel. The spaces 7, 9 may be left empty. The system may be employed in multivoltage A.C. or D.C. motors.
