Abstract
979,023. Dynamo-electric machines. MAWDSLEY'S Ltd. Nov. 4, 1963 [Sept. 17, 1962], No. 35264/62. Heading H2A. In a machine for teaching &c. the laminated stator is composed of separate segments which can be removed or replaced, together with their associated slot-conductors, these being taken out to multi-pin connectors 7 on the frame sector to which the core-segment is secured. Core segments 2a include one slot, and 2b two slots. Interconnection terminals 9 are mounted on segmental flange 8. Various rotors may be used. The machine may be used as a dynamometer, and many sorts of motor or generator.
