Abstract

615,045. Cylinders. TWIN COACH CO. Aug. 19, 1946, No. 24679. Convention date, Aug. 17, 1945. [Classes 7 (ii), 7 (iii) and 7 (vi)] Cylinder liners 130 are supported intermediate their ends on partitions 117, their upper ends being level with the upper end of the water jacket 116, and their lower ends being free to expand. A soft gasket 128 and separate hard gaskets 134 for each cylinder are provided for the head which is held by studs 138 screwed into holes in bosses 124 at the corners of the jacket. The head bases and the partitions 117 have circular holes for the cooling water. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also subject-matter described in Specification 627,381. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
