475,887. Cooling cylinders. ROWLEDGE, A. J. May 28, 1936, No. 15075. [Class 7 (ii)] Baffles B are secured to the ribs A' of aircooled cylinders by studs C, which are screwed into the cylinder walls and flattened to the profile of the ribs, where they pass through them, so as not to obstruct the air flow. Squared portions C<2>, fitting square holes in the baffles, relieve the studs from tortional strain during tightening. Specification 445,039 is referred to.
