478,204. Cylinder and crank-case covers. POUNDER, C. C., REBBECK, F. E. July 13, 1936, No. 19347. [Class 7 (ii)] In engines with under piston compression, the base 8 of the pump-space is separate from the crank-case cover 5. Both members 5, 8 are in twc or more parts to facilitate assembly. The base 8 is sloped, or consists of a helicoidal channel around the central gland 7. A supporting bracket 16 and inspection cover 15 are provided.
