522,699. Crank-chambers. VAUXHALL MOTORS, Ltd., and BERRY, J. H. Dec. 13, 1938, No. 36311. [Class 7 (ii)] The adjacent surfaces of the lower side of the bearing-cap e and of the sump-flange f are of V or truncated-V formation. the limbs of the V being plane while the end of the truncated V may be plane, slightly rounded or obtuse-angled. The flange f may continue horizontally for bolting to the lower side of the crank-case d. A gasket h may be interposed.
