614,888. Flow indicators. VICTORIA MACHINE TOOL CO., Ltd., SELBY, J., and FRYE, J. Aug. 12, 1946, No. 23830. [Class 110 (ii)] Liquid under pressure from a pipe P flows through passages 11, 5, 6 causing rotation of a rotor 1 which is visible through a transparent end wall 8. The liquid passes away through an outlet 7. The rotor, which is in two parts, is supported on journals formed on a projection 9. End thrust is taken by a dome 15, or a ball, which bears on a metal strip 16. The end of the rotor visible through the window, is marked to render its rotation more visible. Pressure balancing between a cavity 3 and the chamber outside the rotor is secured by a small hole 12.
