Abstract

529,466. Gas meters. ROBINSON & CO. (LIVERPOOL), Ltd., J. H., and FOX, T. June 1, 1939, No. 16117. [Class 54] Oil is supplied under pressure to lubricate the valves of a gas meter through a tubular housing 10 fitted with a spring- pressed ball valve 18 and having a radial discharge port 20. The inlet end of the housing is normally closed by a screw cap 13 and fibre washer 14. The housing is formed with a shoulder 11 which is welded or soldered to the meter wall 12. Specification 167,710, [Class 54], is referred to.
